Thx whackbag yet again for ALL your shares. And particularly the fact you use m4b, luv it, nice simple single file w Chapter marks, and as a bonus, a cue file for those who for some reason hate m4b, they can convert to mp3 using the cue file as the split settings. Best of both worlds. I don’t mind when ppl split their mp3’s into multiple files, IF they are split into the proper chapters. Then all I do if i feel like it is join into 1 x m4b preserving the chapter marks. But when they split them into 100’s of 2-5 minute files, I still appreciate their shares but I just join them up into 1 m4b or mp3 but no chapter marks, unless I do it manually. I convert my aax files the same as you but create a nfo file instead of the cue file, might look at doing it your way. Thx again, keep up the good work.

Why would you have to rejoin all the split files of mp3’s? ODC? Most people like mp3 as most older players don’t handle m4b. Anyway if you think people should just buy a newer player. Only poor people can’t buy one. Well you are stealing peoples work so you don’t have to pay for it. Seems worse if you can afford it.

I disagree. I like the shorter files(chaptered). That way I don’t waste all day hen I get into a good book. I easily get into good books. But I have things to do. Spending that extra hour not taking my kids to get ice cream or to the park or just a nice conversation because I got lost in a book for an extra 20 minutes to an hour could easily make me a bad father. Not gonna take that chance. Even when I was single. My dog sitting there staring at me and me not noticing. And all he wanted was a pat on the back or a talk or a simple look and a “good dog”.

@Disagree Everyone has busy lives, u aren’t the only one, besides I never said you had to join anything, I was thanking whackbag for the upload (WHICH NEITHER OF YOU THANKED HIM HERE), AND EXPRESSING MY OWN OPINION. And m4b’s remember the place you are up to anyway and ONCE AGAIN, that is my OWN opinion.
Thanks again whackbag for all your uploads, m4b’s or mp3’s either way, and to everyone who has shared on here, I appreciate it which ever way you split it.

thanks. saw the movie which was pretty good. never realized it was based on a Gaiman book. should be a good listen.
i’m glad i no longer have to convert m4b to mp3. i have a pile of players in the basement that can’t play them. phone apps are better in so many ways than those dedicated players. i never even look at file types anymore. yay
